Waking up at 6 am was a little easier today since we all slept much better last night. We woke up with the sound of the Bosun’s pipe and a cheesy wake up call that went like this: “Get out of your bunks and into your trunks, it’s time to go swimming in Cuttyhunk.” Once on the deck, we had to do our morning calisthenics followed by a morning dip. After a difficult sleep where none of the rising freshmen got adequate rest, we were set to rise by 6:00. Around 7:00 we had a delicious breakfast of “Green Eggs and Bacon.” We cleaned and washed dishes and then began to set sail to Kettle Cove on a three hour-long journey! When we first began our SSV Tabor Boy adventure, we met near the Hoyt docks. We did some get-to-know-you games as our parents toured the vessel. When our parents got back, we said our goodbyes and embarked onto the Tabor launch. We boarded the boat and truly began our journey.
