Today when we woke up we did the morning dip, but this morning dip was a little different. Today we woke up at 6 a.m. for another freezing morning dip. We played a game of Waboba and Port won yet again. After we dried off we got ready for a breakfast of bacon and eggs. Once breakfast had ended everyone went ashore to go to UMass Dartmouth’s SMAST Marine Campus. There we learned about Blue, an AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle), and then went to a touch tank. The second day aboard the Tabor Boy has come and gone. Our day started early at 6:00 a.m. when we did push-ups and jumping-jacks right before the chilly plunge into the harbor. Today at 9:00 we met our crew and classmates for the next week. It was beautiful on Tabor’s waterfront. We started the day with meet and greet activities consisting of a name game, trust maze, blob and line, and switch sides. Then we proceeded to board the Tabor Boy.
