Today, after we woke up and did our daily routine of pushups, jumping jacks, and a swim, we motored from Vineyard Haven through Woods Hole to Hadley’s Harbor. Once anchored we took the RHIB’s to Bull Island. On the island we hiked to a beach and began studying the sea creatures around us. There was an array of crustaceans such as Green Crabs and Asian Shore Crabs. The most common species we encountered was the periwinkle. When we returned to…

This morning we woke up at 0608 in Vineyard Haven. It was very nice of Aidan to allow us to sleep in for an extra eight minutes. After everyone was dry, we prepared for a breakfast of bacon, eggs, and english muffins. When everyone had finished eating, both watches split up into…

Today we first arrived at Tabor Academy around 1600. We checked in and then hung out with fellow students and parents before we joined together for icebreakers. We especially liked a game where one student was blindfolded and their partner had to guide them through a challenging obstacle course. Once we met everyone and got to know each other a little, we headed out to the Tabor Boy. On the schooner, we were brought to the quarter deck where Aidan…
